frozen in carbonite!!

not sure what the appeal is when my boys freeze their action figures in "carbonite."  all i know is that they take up so much room in my freezer! 

as much as i am annoyed at the space taken up in my freezer, i can't help but smile at what they did and be impressed at their unbounded imagination.

i don't know how many of these poor guys have been frozen like this and made to sit in the freezer for i don't know how long.  not sure if the boys remember these guys, but at least now i know where those drinking cups are disappearing to!

take a hike!

my 5 y.o. started collecting rocks from everywhere.  here is just half of his rock collection.  he has piled them to form volcanoes and treacherous mountain faces, imagining little people climbing on precipitous slopes.

one afternoon i saw him hovered over this pile of rocks on our patio table and then just got up and left.  when i went over to get him to put away his rocks, i discovered this clone trooper guy taking a hike!

with 3 boys come lots of photos and references from star wars.  that is my life.  brimming with star wars, star wars coming out of our ears.  a friend passed on this great link, a day in the life of a stormtrooper, after seeing all of my boys' star wars scenarios.  my favorite is the one above.  go check it out!  lots of LOL moments for all star wars fans!
